The Government of India, through the MSME Sustainable (ZED – Zero Defect Zero Effect) Certification Scheme, is promoting quality and sustainable manufacturing practices among MSMEs across the country.
For Silver & Gold level certifications, on-site assessments are mandatory, and trained ZED Assessors are required to conduct these assessments.
To support this initiative, QCI provides a 5-Day Assessor Training Program at no participation cost for eligible professionals.
As a ZED Assessor, you can:
Work on on-site assessment assignments
Earn through assessment activities
Build your profile in auditing & compliance domain
Work independently as a freelance assessor
Get empanelled with RSJ Inspection
Also associate with up to 2 additional agencies for similar opportunities
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
The applicant shall be a Engineering Graduate form a recognised University or Diploma in Engineering form a recognised Institute/University
Industry Experience
Minimum experience of 5 years (for Graduates) and 8 years (for Diploma Holders) in manufacturing industry, of which at least 3 years of experience should be in
Certification requirement
Individuals holding a valid ISO Lead Auditor certification in Quality Management Systems or any other ISO Management Systems, as relevant (ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 etc).
Professional suitability
Professionals who want to work as independent freelancers.
Candidates who are open to travel for assessments.
Professionals confident in interacting with MSME owners and conducting assessments.
Location Preference
Having located near to manufacturing MSME clusters, industries zone etc.
