Joining Reward & Certification Fees
MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) who join the ZED scheme are given an INR 10,000 joining reward that is valid for one year.
This reward can be applied for a certification level, and fees will get consumed on applying for the ZED certification scheme. For instance, if the bronze certification fee is INR 10,000, applying the joining reward makes it free of cost.
ision can be a significant barrier for many small and medium enterprises. That’s where the ZED (Zero Defect Zero Effect) certification comes in.
There are three levels of ZED certification – Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Now, let’s take a look at the subsidies available for different types of enterprises:
- Micro Enterprises: Micro enterprises can get up to 80% subsidies on the ZED application fees.
- Small Enterprises: Small enterprises can get up to 60% subsidies on the ZED application fees.
- Medium Enterprises: Medium enterprises can get up to 50% subsidies on the ZED certification fees.
In addition to these subsidies, there is an additional subsidy available for enterprises that meet certain criteria. If your company is part of the MSE (Micro and Small Enterprise) cluster development program or part of the SFURTI (Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries) Scheme, you are eligible for an additional subsidy.
Furthermore, if your enterprise is owned by Women or SC/ST or your enterprise is in the North-eastern region or Himalayan region or left-wing extremism-affected area or island territory or aspirational districts, you will get an additional 10% subsidy.
